Sorry for the radio silence here on the blog, I've been laser-focused on finishing and bug-testing my entry for the Cookie Cutter RM2k3 jam. It's called Hero's Last Hurrah. It's a little adventurey RPG with light combat that should take 1-2 hours to complete, with optional bonus objectives. It should play fine in a browser on any modern-ish computer,1 but if you're getting slowdown I recommend downloading the playing it with the EasyRPG Player, available for pretty much every platform. It takes some setup, but it's not too complicated. Let me know if you have any issues getting it to work or if you encounter any game-breaking bugs.
I spent most of my free time in February making this the most polished little RPG I could make, and I hope the effort shines through. After such a huge expenditure of creative energy, I'm going to take a break from big projects for a little while. Hopefully blog posting should resume soon 🦝
